Fernana de Felice at the Federal University of Rio de Janerio and some of the colleagues found that people with Alzheimer’s had low levels of hormone compared with healthy individuals. The team did a research on MICE learning about memory deficits by cutting out IRISIN and could reverse the effects by restoring the hormone. In the process of deep learning and memory deficits by cutting out irisin and could reverse the effects by restoring the hormone. When irisin signaling was blocked in mice with rodent version of Alzheimer's the brain benefits of physical exercise were lost. Alzheimer's is a complex disease.
